Guidebook for Pilgrams to the Heavenly City

Author: Gareth Lee Cockerill
Genre: Missions
Reviewed By: Adam and Melissa Hoffman

Review:
This book uses analogies of a Muslim’s pilgrimage to Mecca “the Hajj to bridge the Gospel using the Book of Hebrews. It is written with a Muslim perspective instead of a Western audience. It does a good job of showing a way to connect the bible in a cultural sensitive context. The author appears to have a good knowledge of both Islam and Christianity as he connects concepts seemingly easily, however withholds the explanation of the Islamic context. He skates around some sensitive conflicts between worldviews, while tackling others head on. I would recommend this book to those going to an Islamic field to use this book as a tool in their arsenal.
